On April 15, 2025, the Falmouth Outlook reported that Paragon Metal Fabricators, under Muehlenkamp Properties Inc., will establish a $6.1 million manufacturing facility in Falmouth, Pendleton County, creating 40 high-quality jobs. The project repurposes the former Hammer Strength facility, closed in March 2025, and is set to begin operations between mid-May and mid-June. Paragon plans to retain many former Hammer Strength employees, ensuring a skilled workforce for its second Kentucky location.
The facility will handle lighter fabrication tasks (under 1,000 pounds) with advanced equipment like sheet and tube lasers, enhancing Paragon’s capacity for industries such as oil and gas, filtration, and heavy equipment. Governor Andy Beshear noted, “Paragon Metal Fabricators will be a tremendous addition to the Falmouth community, bringing with them quality job opportunities.” President Bryan Muehlenkamp expressed enthusiasm, stating, “My brothers and I are just super excited. To have a workforce that seems so excited to join our team is exciting.”
Supported by a 15-year Kentucky Business Investment program incentive offering up to $1 million in tax incentives, Paragon’s move strengthens Pendleton County’s economic resilience. Local leaders, including Judge Executive David Fields and Economic Development Director Tami Vater, praised the project for restoring jobs and driving growth.
