April 10, 2025, Governor Andy Beshear announced that Paragon Metal Fabricators, under Muehlenkamp Properties Inc., will establish a new manufacturing facility in Falmouth, Pendleton County, with a $6.1 million investment. This exciting expansion will create 40 high-quality jobs, revitalizing a facility previously operated by Hammer Strength, which closed last month after 35 years.
The new Falmouth operation, Paragon’s second location in Kentucky, will enhance production with advanced machinery, including sheet and tube lasers and improved forming capabilities. This investment not only strengthens Paragon’s ability to meet growing demand in industries like oil and gas, filtration, and heavy equipment but also preserves local jobs by employing experienced workers from Hammer Strength.
“Kentucky’s strength comes from our ability to persevere,” said Gov. Beshear, emphasizing the project’s role in boosting the local economy. Local leaders, including Pendleton County Judge/Executive David S. Fields and Economic & Tourism Development Director Tami Vater, hailed the move as a testament to the county’s resilience and economic potential.
For Paragon, a family-owned business founded in 1989 by brothers Joe, Stan, and Mark Muehlenkamp, this expansion reflects our commitment to Northern Kentucky. “We are proud Kentuckians,” said President Bryan Muehlenkamp, noting the company’s gratitude for state and local support.
Supported by a 15-year Kentucky Business Investment program incentive, Paragon’s investment underscores Kentucky’s manufacturing boom, contributing to the state’s record-breaking economic growth under Gov. Beshear’s leadership.
